2024 PLTL (5,6,7 year old) Rookie Football

Princeton Little League Football is a program designed to provide a safe and productive environment for children from ages 5 to 7. The program's primary focus is to teach the basic skills of the game and enhance those skills as the player moves through our program. The program encourages player creativity in the development of both individual and team skills. PLTL's goal is to create an atmosphere of fun and good sportsmanship for all players. This is a tackle football division. Players will wear shoulder pads and helmets.

2024 Joe Phillips Football Camp

Princeton Little Tarheel League's Joe Phillips Football Camp is a one day football event put on by the PLTL football coaches and other special guests. The camp will be August 3rd from 8:00am to 1:00pm for ages 5 through 12. Player must be 5 years old by 8/3/2024 and cannot be older than 12 years old at 8/3/2024. In person sign-in will begin at 7:30 am and end at 8:00am. Each child attending will be provided a T-shirt if your registration is completed by July 14th. Camp fee is $25.00 and includes free hotdog lunch.

OFFERED PROGRAMS

RECREATIONAL FOOTBALL

PLTL's Recreational football program runs during the late Summer and Fall months (July - Nov) for children ages 5 through 12. Our program is apart of the Johnston County league which has historically operated under the name, JCAA. The program consists of 1 game and 3 practices per week. The season typically consist of an 8 game season beginning in September and running through early November. Games are played on Saturdays! Practice location/time/day are selected by the team head coach and the practice schedule will be provided to you by your head coach.

5,6, & 7 Year Rookie FOOTBALL (must be 5 by 9/1/22)

JV Football Division (Tackle Football for 7, 8, and 9 year olds)

Varsity Football Division (Tackle Football for 10, 11, and 12 year old)

PROGRAM INFORMATION

The emphasis of the PLTL football program is to teach boys and girls AGES 5-12 the fundamentals of football and enhance the skills of the more experienced players. The program encourages development in both individual and team skills, in an atmosphere of fun and good sportsmanship.
